Default Heavy white/grey smoke at WOT.

Ive tried searches and havent found a case that matches mine yet. i just put 1.6 RR's along with lifters, PR and valvesprings etc. Before the valvetrain change I had no smoke at all, not even at idle. Since i put on the valvetrain, I get heavy smoke at WOT, yet none at idle or revs. Could my rockers be the culprit? Id like to eliminate the rockers first before I do a leakdown test.

Heavy white smoke is most often a head gasket.

Ask yourself what causes white smoke. Take a look at your spark plugs and see what they look like.

mine does the same only at WOT, if it was a proplem with the valvetrain the smoke will be lite blue.

White smoke is only one thing, regardless of when it does it.

honestly I bet it's actually oil smoke you're seeing, not coolant smoke, and you tore up the valve stem seals or didn't install them right

blueish smoke can look grey/white in your mirror or through a tinted hatch

I would also bet on a valve seal. Pull the valve covers and see if any of them rose up on the valve stem.
