Default New PB tonight in the Formula

Just got back from the track with a new PB. I have to say im pretty pleased with the time. The only thing i change from 2 wks ago is i added a 125 shot. Anyways onto the good stuff...
Went from a 12.75 @106 with a 1.77 60' to
11.22 @ 120 with a 1.56 60'

I think it did pretty good. What do you guys think??

thats around what im hoping for all motor before i go automatic gratz though thats awesome

Thanks man. Im hoping for alittle bit more out of it today. Hopefully they actually prep the track this time. Maybe i can bring back a 10.9x slip

spill the beans on how u got it that lite! how much do u weigh? 90lbs?! honestly man those r awesome times. im hoping to do the same eventually. but i want to get 11's bolt on only then spray into the 10's on a bone stock motor. and fully streetable car.

first of all 2860 thats a lot of weight to have gutted, is that with you in or out of the vehicle?
Secondly, thats a huge gain for a 125 shot especially running 12.7x and picking up well over 1.5 seconds with only a 125!!
Either way good job, but skeptical!

yeah that is definately some weight reduction...

as far as the power adder we have also had gains similar
13.3 N/A 11.30 on a 125 dry 94m6
14.0 N/A 12.5 on a 125 dry 97a4 ws6 vert
14.1 N/A 12.26 on a 150 wet 96m6
all times are slow N/A but we are in the desert and the DA is generally 3k +

Whats so skeptical about it? Plenty of people have 2800 RW fbody's. As far as picking up that much on the bottle..its probably because its making up for the stock 3.42 gears and 28" tires. thats why it ran like crap on the motor.

I watched him make that pass and it did go that fast why don't you guys check out his project gutted formula post to see how he got down to that weight I was there for most the cutting he is a crazy SOB great runs Shawn considering there is modded and stroked lt1 running 13s and modded and power added LS1s not running nearly as fast as your stock lt1 with the n2o at our track

Thanks man. Crazy SOB...i think thats a little much theres a seat and steering wheel in it still
