Default Intake manifold oil leak questions

Okay, so I'm pretty sure that my intake manifold gasket is out and leaking oil. It's all over the bottom of the car, and getting on exhaust and burning up. Question is how much oil can be leaking out there?

a **** ton depending on how bad the leak is. I've had mine leak bad enough that oil smoke would bellow from under the car at idle (landing on the ypipe) and would leave a puddle wherever I parked

I had the low oil light come on once on mine after a 100 mi drive. i think i had to add 2 qts. I also had the smoke out of the drivers side of the motor after i shut the car off. it's all fixed now

Just fix it, its not a bad Job. I love pulling my LT1 intake vs having to deal w/ LSX crap.

I just had to do mine, only thing I hate is setting it down, definately helps if you have a friend unless you like wiping RTV off everything lol

cleanly without shifting gaskets, pinching electrical connectors, and smearing RTV everywhere?

I'm sure it can be done as I've had to do it before alone, but having an extra set of hands and eyes makes it alot less of a PITA

jam a cut off broom handle or something in the throttle body holes to help hold it next time.

makes it 10x easier.
