Jacked the car up today.... Ha
Pulled of my govenor cover, changed one weight out.
my 2-3 and 3-4 shifts are much longer ~6100 (I heard stick tach is around 300rpm off is that true?
Seems like I need to figure out my 1-2 shift, it's still around 5300-5500 ish, video is uploading, give me a minute.

I talked to liberty gears yesterday. They said they don't sell a stock rebuild kit they just replace what is needed. I'd really like for everything that can be replaced to be replaced. I only want to have that trans out once and do it right. Should I jut give it to my trans guy and tell him to replace everything that can be? Should I replace the forks?
For my 17x11s.
I can get some Nitto NT05r's for $378 to my door or some Toyo Proxes for 379. Or should I just get some street tires for them and throw some drs on the 17x9s?
Sanded down and primed the t56 torque arm. Silver or black? I know the stock ones aren't great but it'll do for now.
Also, doesn't anyone know if ill need a 95-97 harness for the 6 speed swap?

you can make your harness to work, but everyone says it's easier to use an m6 harness. On the DR subject, nitto's seem to be best on the street and meh for the track, have not heard anything on the toyo's but if they are anything like the ones i have they will do great. I have some Proxes S4's

Turns out I don't need a complete harness.

My small accumulated parts for the swap
I should be getting the pedals Monday, picking up trans from Patrick Sunday morning.
Things left:
dust shield (should come with trans)
vss (should come with trans)
may need a few random pig tails from dealer
lower shift boot (hopefully with trans)
u-bolt for master (dealer?)

I knew you could make the a4 harness work, just everything said it was cleaner/easier to just swap it. Either way glad you got it sorted out, and I look forward to seeing it as an m6.

Picked up the trans today from Patrick, nice guy! Thanks again! @Infinite_Ocean
What is the hole on the left side of the trans towards the bellhousing? Has 2 bolts, is that where the slave goes? It has a bracket that runs up to the input shaft.
I need:
Lower shift boot
Dust shield
Pribably this week after I clean up the trans casing ill take it to work and give it to the trans guy. Still don't know what I'm going to do for a rebuild kit.
anyone need a built 700r4?

Zero shift boots at any dealer lol.
This should work eh?
http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/pr...roduction.html
I ordered the reverse lockout pigtail as well as the reverse lights pigtail. $60 for both
I have decided to just take a risk and throw the trans in as is. I don't want to drop the coin on a rebuild (all though boss the best time) it shouldn't be difficult to do it later on.
Fingers crossed it works without any issues at least for the summer.
Anyone have a dust shield laying around? Also what's the bolt size of the shifter to trans?

That boot in the link you posted is the right one. They have the 6 on the top left, the v6 5spd has a 5 on the top left. Mine was torn really badly when I got the car so I found a nice one on ebay for a good price, might want to check there.
