Default Has trouble starting when cold?

I'm having trouble getting the car started when the engine is cold. It just keeps cranking and takes me about 2 tries to get it to start. Once everythings warmed up the car seems to start on just a couple cranks. What usually causes this and what could I check?

Is it just when its cold or whenever its been sitting? Does it do this in the summertime too? If it also does it when its warm out it could be that the check valve in the fuel pump is bad and the pressure is bleeding down. After you crank it a bit the pressure builds and it starts. Next time before you start it check the fuel pressure. If there's no pressure in the rails that's your problem. Just one possiblility.

Just got the car Saturday so I'm not sure about the summertime. It's doing it after it sits for awhile and the engine is cold.
