Because there aren't many places around here that are reputable with LT1s. Bryan @ PCMforless seems to have the knack the most, and he only comes out to the NJ area once every few weeks. I missed the last time he was out because of a few bugs with the car.
Once he's in the area though, I'll have him take care of it.

I'm going to also suggest going to a 28" tire and 4.10s...Maybe even 4.30s depending on your dyno numbers and respective rpm...I'm not a big fan of dynos, but they are nice tuning tools to help you dial it all in...
I became very consistent when I switched from 26s and 3.73s to 28s and 4.10s. That extra sidewall makes a big difference in consistency. My run in my sig was made with the stock style Spohn rear sway bar and a Vig 3600. I have since switched to a Pro Series rear drag by, (like the Wolfe), had the Vig restalled to 4000 and switched from 275 60s to 325 50s...If I ever get my rockers back from Comp (they are rebuilding my 15 year old high tech stainless rockers) I'll hit the track and try it all out...On the street before
I sent the rockers back, it felt ridiculous! We'll see...You'll get there with your set up...122 is a good 10 second mph and you'll on;y get better with the tune and a few tweaks...

The name of your thread "Stupid LT1"...you pretty much owned yourself because you are running your car untuned. So it's really not the cars fault for not pulling high 10's (which it has in it) it's yours. Other then that it's a stellar set up with a lot more potential left on the table.

Damn 11.04 untuned, that's awesome. I bet if you just did a mailorder tune you'd be in the 10s. Probably the cheapest way for you to get there until you can get an official dyno tune.
You have a 95 so if you still have your OBD1 and have a laptop you can buy all you need to tune the car for 175 including the cable and shipping. Once you have that you can take the car to numerous places in nj. hell you could learn to tune it yourself its not that hard.
what size stall are you running and whats that thing weigh?

I have the laptop and the AKM cable for several years now. Definitely some of the best money I've spent on my car (although the laptop decided to take a dump on me).
The stall I'm running is a Performabuilt stall, 4000. I'll probably look into upgrading to a Yank in the future.
Honestly, I've never had it scaled, so I couldn't tell you how much it weighs. I'm curious to find out though. Just need to go and do it.

sucks about the laptop. you could rent dyno time for like 100-150 an hour and just tune it yourself. WOT tuning is pretty simple compared to tuning for driveability. do you have a wideband? i'm not a master tuner but i wouldn't mind giving you a hand if you were ever in nyc. i have all the software.
