Default No Start After Wire Change

I changed out my burnt old plug wires for brand new MSD Superconductors. I took my time and even drew a diagram of the Opti and where the plugs were located. I went to start it, and nothing. It turned over and kept doing so. We heard even a possible back fire out of the intake. I thought maybe it was lower on gas than I thought so I put 5 gallons in it...nothing.

I checked EVERYTHING that I even touched. Coil, all the wires, every plug, wire and belt I touched. I found nothing wrong. I checked to make sure that the wires were on the right terminals on the Opti, they all were. Im not sure what has changed? Im at a loss for words right now, I'm so angry. Any ideas?

if your getting a little back fire then it seems like the only logic would be the wires on wrong....

Here is how the motor is plug wise...the opti cap is labeled

8..........7
6..........5
4..........3
2..........1
OPTI

if that is not it....are you getting fuel?

We checked all the wires and compared notes to the diagram on shbox.com. I ran the car into the garage to do the wires and the wires are all I've touched.

Replace the coil wire with the stock one and see if it starts.

ive actually had this happen a number of times.

If this doesnt work, change the coil.

Could have been really bad timing IMO.
