changed one out from a high end miss on the dyno, blew one up at 32k, and still on the 3rd one. I voted 2 then remembered the dyno one.

2nd one at 86,000 i think she just got wet because I didnt have the vacuum on the bottom hooked up... still dont but whatever

I put a new opti on when I rebuilt the motor, blew that one and put the stocker back on and she still runs like a champ!

long live the opti!
But when this one goes I am going ls1 pcm conversion

I am on my second, but I really changed the opti when I did not need to. The problem was a plug wire. That was when I was an LT1 newbie, LOL. About 80k miles on the one in there now (GM opti).

second, first one went to 205K miles, was still fine, just changed it when I did the plug wires as long as I was in there.

Had a water pump kill the stocker, second one was working fine when I pulled it for a vented conversion

just swapped out the stocker for a MSD even though the stock was just fine. did it in hopes of saving from having to do it later.

142,000 on my original (still have it) and swapped in a MSD one when the new motor went in.

62k, 13 year old original opti. Put a msd cap and rotor on it 2 years ago when doing the cam. It was running fine, just thought it wouldn't hurt to change it after 10 years.

82k on the original, but has a high rpm miss. Havent had time to diagnose the problem yet.
