Won't make it to LTX shootout
 

Well lookslike I won't make it to the LTX shootout guys :mad: seems I'll ne here in Iraq until the end of August, there is no way I could come home after a year kiss the wife and prep the car and head to the event in a reasonable time :(

I don't even want to think about the repurcussions I would endure from the wife for that one :dark:

But on another note I came down for orders for Germany (Bramberg) so were just gonna prep the TA for that. Report date 10 Feb.

Dude tell the wife your taking her on vacation to an Amusement park that just happens to have a drag strip and LTX event going on.

Yeah. They have one of the biggest wooden rollercoasters in the world.

Yeah I wasn't able to come home for mid-tour (had to give the slot to one of my troops) I can't wait to get back, by now she is all painted up and ready to go. I have to find a way to quite my exhaust though because you can't be over 98d's at 3k rpm's so I may have to change my exhaust.

I was planning on having Larry put the 24x system on my car but after some serious thought I may wait and do a LS swap in the future, this motor I have now has less than 5k on it so it should last until I get back and then we will see.

does your wife already know about the shootout? if not just tell her you want to go on a road trip w/ her. then be like "wow! an LT1 shoot out? whats the chances of running across one of those, we've gotta stop!" :lol:

Roger's putting it in the shop tomorrow to paint should be done in a week or so, I'll have pictures posted as soon as he sends them. Roger should be there though...of course he's a LSX guy now but we won't hold that against him lol.

Black with possibly silk black down the two vents on the Predator hood as well as Flamed "Ram Air" , "Trans Am" and "Pontiac"...smoked out turn sig's. It should be sick
