Yeah you're going to have to get creative. I used a breaker bar between the pulley and against the sway bar (when I had it). |
Go buy a flywheel tool. It's a prybar with an arm that sticks out to the side that has a 90 degree bend at the tip. It engages the ring gear teeth at two points so you can hold it still. |

To unbolt, absolutely. To bolt up though I'd rather stay as close to the torque specs as possible. |
I just had someone hold the front with a breaker bar (wedged in the balancer) and I torqued everything to spec just fine. Just make sure they're not whimpy :P |
