TD Question: Does angling out the turndowns make them "a little" more quiet???
Getting ready to put together my duals and wanted to see if anyone has run the turndowns straight down or turned out a little bit or both? If both, what was your experience with the noise level. Did it go down any? I am not going to mind the noise either way, but the PoPo might.

Straight down. You don't want to further the risk of soaking the tires in coolant if you lose a head gasket or something. I have a single bullet with the dump pointed down and it's not bad. It's going drone regardless, if you want it quiet then run a set up with tail pipes.

sound is directional. I believe if you turn both down then the sides will blend together and sound better. If you angle them, the two sounds dont blend as well and you hear more of a "half" engine when standing by the side of the car.
