nah his gasket could of went bad from not tq the intake down right or other lil things....

i paid 1500$ for mine and it has 152k on it but thats here in mass an camaro go for more but i still got a deal for it seeing i didnt see 1 less then 2300$ when i got mine..

take it to a good shop and have it looked over..see if it has codes, get what all it has done to it and try and get the rebuild receipts..

holy horrible grammer... from both of you... get receipts. if it is a legit rebuild then thats a really good price. the intake leaking is really common and would not cause the rebuild/motor to be bad, you would just need to fix it.

I agree with suicidal, take it to a shop to get looked at.

CamaroRacing12 May 7, 2010 01:07 PM

the optispark is a common problem with the LT1's. with that being said i have yet to have a problem with mine *knock on wood*

make sure u get the car checked out first by a GOOD shop. and make sure u get reciepts for his so called "rebuild" before u put any money down
