Default Meziere HD water pump install issues

I purchased the HD kit and got it all in and the pump did not come with a gasket. so i figured it didn't need it and installed it, now it's pouring everywhere. Anyone know if this thing is supposed to come with a gasket of some sort or do i need to use a silicone type of sealer? It threw me for a loop because the mating surface of the pump is flat. Any help is apreciated!

Thanks
Sean

I can't vouch for the Meziere, but my CSI/R has an integral o-ring that I installed dry. I would assume the Meziere would require an equivalent.

Most of them have an o-ring but I always use a thin bead of sealant becasue the o-rings usually don't seal

should come with an o-ring and also put a thin bead of silicone around the pump, and the hd pump will need modification of the fan shroud to fit correctly

Yup you reuse your origional one. It's always a good idea to alway coat your O rings with grease or oil. If you have thrown away your old tappered sealing ring just use rtv and itll seal fine.
