I just read through this entire thread, congratulations on hitting the 10's with it!
Several questions, do you have lower control arm relocation brackets on that 12 bolt?
Are you still running the factory torque arm? if you are, I'll bet it is flexing quite a bit at the starting line and allowing the rear to rotate. Bob

Hi Bob,
1. yes the 12 bolt has relocation brackets and I'm using the middle hole.
2. Yes still running the stock torque arm, i didnt think of the possibility of flex.

Have you tried using the very bottom hole? It has always seemed to 60ft better for us in the bottom hole.

The stock torque arm will start to bend about six inches ahead of the rear, sometimes for good. I had a guy back at the old EPP shop limp his Camaro in with the factory torque arm (on his Moser 12 bolt) bent so bad the rear springs almost fell out of their pockets. You might try borrowing someones aftermarket torque arm to see if it helps your 60ft times. Bob

I have heard good things about the bottom hole as well for traction. I'm pretty surprised that you did that on the stock arm though, but I thought of more weight to be rid of. You could take out the window regulators and just put something in there to hold the window up.

Well I worked on it this morning pulling the door skins and crash bars out bringing my weight loss total to 56lbs

I got 15lbs out of each door, 12lbs from the a arms and 14lbs in metal brackets.

Is this the same Frank from the late 90's who was running this with something like a 2900lb race weight?

The fender metal is useless. The area of the fender where the metal is, is stiff as hell. You can get 7lbs off each side with a sawsall. You can get an additional 1lb each side if you trim it up a little better with a cutoff wheel.

This past weekend I got a call from a friend that the camaro vs mustang street car shootout was going on so I loaded up the car and raced up at Esta Saturday AM. It was sweltering hot (i got a wicked neck sunburn) and they would only let us run eighth mile due to poor track conditions (water) but I still managed a 7.17 best so only down two tenths from last year with the heat and the cage

I may be wrong but dont you have to weight 3400 for extreme street n.a? So he would have to add aprox 200lbs?

How about a vid or a time slip on that 10 second run. It would be nice to see that green monster fly!

Video works for me.....but I'm surprised because I'm usually the one who can't see half the pics and vids on here. LOL I would have added you on FB, but I couldn't figure out how to get to your page or anything. It just brought up a big blank page with your video right in the middle.
