Car won't idle
 

I have always had a manual fan switch, but I decided to re-wire my fans so that they are on their own circuit, and both run on high all the time. Of course, the car threw the p1641 and 1642 codes when I did this. But right after it started idling rough. When I come to a stop it will idle down to around 500, and then kick itself back up in a few seconds. The car smells real rich too. I put the resistors in to get rid of the two codes. They went away, but the car is still doing the same thing. I unplugged the MAF, and cleaned it, but no difference. Anybody have any ideas? Im at a loss here.
