Summitracing sells 2.5 inch and 3 inch X pipes, i think Jeg's also has them, im not sure if im allowed to mention LPP but they also have polished stainless steel X pipe. If its a daily driver i would go with 2.5inch X pipe more ground clearance.
Theres a ton of different mufflers that sound good depends how much money you want to spend.

Im not pushing much horsepower just bolt-on's, i just did the X pipe for the sound, i had mine weld together at a exhaust shop. Here's a picture and video.

Running true duals with shorties is going to be a PITA, due to the position of the collectors and will require a crafty exhaust fabricator. Long tubes make life MUCH easier because the collectors are lower and parallel with the car.
I'm not saying it's impossible by any means - it's just that most people who rave about true duals have long tubes.
