Default Replacing lt1 front end with ls1 front end? Possible? Worth it?

I have a quasar blue 95 z and I was just wondering what all I might need/ how much it might cost to do this switch with the front end (bumper, headlights, etc)

THats up to you many people do it. FOr the cost idk sometimes you can find parts cheap and most not. Where do you live? Also you will have to remember any part you find you will have to paint to match your car color too.

i plan on doing this in a year or so. i thinks its worth it because i like the way the 98+ front looks. i think if you can find a doner car it would be the best way but if you go with parts only it will cost around $650-to-800 plus paint.

but check out this link http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody...ontendto98.htm

this is another option that would be way cheaper and you dont have to paint https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...97-camaro.html

Wait, people actually LIKE the catfish look? I thought it was a burden/trade-off for having an LS1

^^I'm with this guy. I like the front end on the LT1's way better. I can't really explain why, but they just look tougher to me. Everyone has their own opinions though, so if you like the LS1 front end, then go for it.

×10 the ls1 catfish looks like an old Chrysler 300c . The LT1 looks way better kind of sharky on the camaro side. But an ls1 T/A looks better than an lt1

ok after looking at the head lights they are not ls1 head lights. they look more like a mazda 3 or some type of import head light that looks like the ls1 head light but smaller.

Yeah if I would have got an ls camaro, I would have converted to an lt camaro front end asap, I really don't like that front end, looks like a chrysler seabring or something an old lady would drive, that's just my opinion. I do agree the ls1 t/a looks better than the lt, I myself have thought about converting to that front end, the only delima is wether I'm going to stay with the lt or ditch it and go ls.

I agree with the above. It was the reason I sold my Z28 for a LS1 T/A.
If that is your car in your avatar then your also going to need to replace your hood. It would look really weird having a 98+ front end with a 93-97 SS hood cowl.

If you like the look, to each his own. You should also consider just selling your car and buying a LS1 Camaro. They can be had as cheap as 3K, which is at least what you could sell your car for + what it would cost in parts in paint for the look conversion

what would be the purpose is the first question
also if you where to change the frontend due to your year might want to change dash board, center consol...also you might want to make sure the car is modded and, out performs ls1's.
Because with that front end your gonna have people saying they raced a ls motor, and won.And one more thing why make your car look soft, instead of aggressive!!!! good luck though....

NO!!!!!!! Its a quasar blue Z, please dont ruin it as that is a great color on a LT1 car. I would be caught off guard trying to figure out a LS1 front end with quasar blue paint job. Best looking Z in my area is a quasar blue bone stock 95Z with grey leather, my god is it beautiful.
