Exhaust popping at WOT
Well today my buddy and his LS1 wanted to go out back and race.
We did and him having a Stock LS1 with the 2.73s lost to my bolt LT1 but anyways my exhaust was popping throughout the whole pull. Have LT's with True duals dumped at the Axial is this it running rich and burning off unburnt fuel or what?

yes it does. tune by solomon he told me because of the MAF that it wouldn't need retuning after his first tune on my stock car. Got the 2nd tune because of 3.73s and tranny pressures were too high.........Pops said it was a miss but im not sure if thats the case i mean beating that LS1 with a miss probably wouldn't be happening plus i have had a cylinder down in the car before and it shook like a Cali earthquake lol

Ah, as much as I love my 3.73's I can't help miss the original 2.73's I use to have with my then hot cam'd 355 LT1. First gear (and rev'ing to 6k) would always confuse the hell out of other cars (LS1's, Mustangs, etc). We'd be fairly close during a pull and then they would shift into second and my car would just keep screaming ahead...
Of course, the minute my trans would shift into second the LS1 car would quickly slingshot past me and be into 3rd before I was anywhere close to finishing my awful 2nd gear!
3rd gear with the 2.73's was a joke - that went from 87 MPH to 140 MPH :S
Sorry to steer things off course. couldn't help flashback.
