Default Looking for my long lost love my 1997 Red LT1 SS Camaro.

I sold this car while I was in the military and never got to part my ways with the car I'm from San Marcos,Tx so was the car and it was sold to a guy I believe in Dallas,TX pretty young kid if I'm correct. I just wanted to know if anybody knows if this car still exist when sold the car had CC503,P&P head, and dark gray torque thrust style wheels, the car is red with a black top,tan interior had the Tsp rumbler. I had only sold due to hard times and would really like to buy car back I could find it. I sold it I believe it was in early 2008 or 2009. I now have a 1998 Camaro Z28 with all boltons but it just ain't my 97 red Camaro SS.

Try craigslist adds, or your local texas fbody website. Chances are someone will have seen it at a show or something.

Being that it was a SS, you have higher chances of finding it than someone looking for a z28 or 6 cyl.

Good luck, threads like this remind me to never sell my car.

Yea, I've got a buddy who's been torn up since 06 when he sold his 97 Z28 heads and cam car. Try looking at your insurance info or something to find the vin then try to get a car fax on it and see where it's been getting repaired or something??

If you sold it to a young kid, check the scrap yards.

Ya, that bud got a 99 LS1 car and started modding it, just didn't do it for him. Eh, everyone has an idea of what they want. I've got two LT1 cars, I like em

Wow... double dang! Yeah, I would say the insurance route or checking with the DMV would be a good idea. Luckily there aren't too many LT1 SSs floating around in the world.
