Default OMG RPM Stage 5 T56

Last outing to the track was rather unfortunate for 3rd gear. Most likely ate a syncro after only running once. The run felt shitty even though it was a 1.600 60' and I let out after the 1/8th so I wouldn't risk getting kicked off. Ran faster in the 1/8th than my best of 11.22 @ 122.5. My best 1/8th on that run was a 7.19 @ 95.90 and this run was a 7.22 @ 96.55. This was done with no cool down from the drive to the track. I'm not happy because w/ that mph I may have either met or beat my best, but no reason to speculate over ricer math.
In the return lane is when I found out 3rd gear didn't work very well so I packed up and went home.
Hopefully this trans will last a little while.

Nevertheless, impressive times for a complete street car using older performance parts.

And now, you have arguably one of the best transmission company's transmission in your car! Some good came out of the carnage of your old one!

Looks good!

Cool

Did you have the original trans up to this point? If so, how many miles were on it when it finally gave up?

Get that thing installed and lets see a 10 sec slip!

Can a transmission look ominous? That looks ominous! What kind of abuse do they claim it will handle?

Nice, I have one of their T-56's, came out of a car that was cutting 1.43 60's and 10.2 on the quarter. Mine doesn't have the polish, cryo, or the bronze shifter bushing.

Thanks. The only "old" parts on my car are the LINGENFELTER heads and those LINGENFELTER heads aren't old. They are timeless! (well... the LCA's and 12-bolt are like 11+ years old...)

Not going to happen. Racing season is over for me.

Gonna have to wait for next season. I am still thinking it'll be a "DO'H" car and not see 10's... The tranny that is broke now is the second one. The first one was also messed up from the track. I actually missed a 3 to 4 shift and bent a clutch fork. Car was still under warranty and the trans was replaced with a new one. Borg Warner supposedly had an agreement with dealers that as long as the car was under warranty they would deal with their transmissions exclusively. The dealer shipped mine to them and they replaced it with either a new or rebuilt one. That was when the car had maybe 10K miles on it so this trans has about 120K on it and as served me well.
