Will i see gains with this setup?

I will probably be buying a new exhaust setup over Christmas break and was wondering what kind of gains i will be seeing with the new setup. Ill be buying a set of ceramic coated headers, true duals into an xpipe into bullet mufflers dumped before the axle. I've heard headers are awesome gains on lt1's but was just looking for a ballpark estimation. Will also have some 4.10 gears put in and its a m6. Will i be able to tell a difference with those two mods or will they not be that huge of gains?

What are your other mods?

You should feel a night and day difference

Car is stock besides a flowmaster muffler. I've just been enjoying driving my stock fbody but decided it was time to start modding now that i have some extra money laying around.

That extra money will turn into not enough money its a sickness man lol

I believe it lol. Just figured i would pick this up since it seems like a pretty good deal. After this i'm saving for heads and a cam but i still have some thinking on what i am going to get with those two.

When I did my exhaust I saw a nice difference. Pacesetter LTs, Ory, and Magnaflow catback. sounded real mean at wot, I race my buddies TA on the freeway, My father was on the other side and saw coming down.. he said they sounded amazing. But If you havent done, a cold air set up, k&n, morso that will add to it nicely. Its nice to hear, the enjoyment you have in driving you car, have fun with the modding fever :)

You will notice a difference it will be even bigger if you get a tune

will1380 12-13-2010 11:44 AM

Is a tune necessary for headers? Or will my car run fine without a tune?

My95Z 12-13-2010 12:54 PM

If the car is a 94+ then no you do not need a tune, it will drive fine w/o one. A tune wouldn't hurt and you would get a little more power out of it.

If its a non MAF car I would suggest a tune.

The car will pull harder..and of course the sound will make it more fun to drive
