well i've been looking for a good write up for the past few days and i actually found one after i posted this...but even after finding the write up im still not positive if i can get my car high enough to put the passenger side header from underneath the car..should i unbolt the motor mount and jack up the engine? anyone have pics of it done like that? i'm not sure i can imagine how jacking the engine up a few inches helps out.

Shouldnt have to jack it up that high... get it like 2 ft off the ground and if that is not enough, then just jack slowly until you get enough clearance.

If you can get a engine hoist unbolt the motor mount and lift it up one side at a time. They will pop in easy. The jack method works to but not as easy.

^^pretty bad lol,

Spiers - did you use any wood blocks on top of the jack to get it any higher? i've got a 3 ton and i maxed it out and put jack stands on cause i would never go under a car without stands lol
