Default timing cover oil leak

Hey everyone, I have a '93 z28 that has developed an oil leak at the bottom of the timing cover. How hard is it to change the gasket yourself? The local shop wants a lot of money to do it. Doesn't seem to hard but thought I would ask. Any help would be appreciated.

What exactly is leaking? If it's the crank seal, that's easy to replace. But if it's the gasket running along the lower lip (which I'm assuming you're talking about), then that's the oil pan gasket. And it's a PITA to replace.

oil pan gasket isnt to bad, you can clean the outside of the pan real good and slip it over the outside.
