Air Foil and Intake Elbow
Hey,
I was wondering if it is worth it to do these two bolt ons? Will I notice a difference?
If you have a Elbow to sell LMK.
Thanks in advance,
Kyle

If you plan on upgrading your TB in the future, you won't need an air foil as most aftermarket TB's have cast in foils so to speak. Also the elbow is a purely cosmetic mod, you won't notice anything from it.
If you don't have a stall yet, that would be next on my mod list if I were you. Then if you want to continue on the bolt on's only route, you can consider RR's, EWP, and UD pulley. Then it will be time for a cam.

elbow-
only reason i replaced my elbow was because:
1. got a good deal on it.
2. stock elbow was ripped when i bought the car.
purely a cosmetic mod like previously stated. it's actually smaller than the stock elbow, there's a thread somewhere that has pictures comparing them.
air foil -
suppose to help the throttle body flow about 50 more cfm, does it actually do anything? debatable.

I have a UD Crank Pulley... and Yeah I was thinking about running some 1.6RR's on the stock cam so I wouldnt have to buy them later on down the road if i do a cam swap, plus get some performance/raise the lift on stock cam.

I currently have my hotcam set up in the classifieds, because I want to get a Yank SS3600... Will I notice a big difference?

honestly I think changing springs is a PITA and would wait until I was doing a cam swap, but that's just me

you'll have to upgrade the stock springs as they'll barely good enough for stock 1.5 rockers, let alone the fact that they're like 15 years old with XXXXXX miles on them.

+++10 on the stall upgrade. I've never driven a car with a aftermarket stall until I drove the TA in my sig and let me tell you the power off the line was awesome. Combine a stall with some drag radials would be killer.

well if you want to do 1.6 rockers now, you might want to opt for NSA rockers or you will limit yourself on future cam selections or be forced to buy the same parts twice.
since you're doing NSA rockers you will need guideplates.
since you're doing guideplates you will need hardened pushrods.
and then while you're in there installing guideplates, might as well upgrade the rocker studs.
oh the slippery slope of modding cars, where an idea for a $200-300 rocker swap finds it way closer to $1k lol

Guide plates, arp rocker studs, and hardened pushrods don't cost that much. I agree with the above, get NSA 7/16" rockers and 7/16" arp rocker arm studs.
