Default What K-member/a-arms do you run?

I want to know what company people are running and if they have had any major issues with them?

I've heard many good things about the UMI k-members and a-arms and have seen one in person. Very high quality and fit like a dream. Will be going with their product this winter.

I just bought BMR K-Member and upper and lower a-arms. They are a quality piece. I am very happy with them. The car isn't on the road yet, but so far, so good.

UMI road race for my daily- not yet purchased
I have not seen another model like this one that I feel confident in having on my DD that can handle daily abuse on the streets.
PA racing in my 95, car unfinished!

Had them installed last summer. I'm very pleased. Here are a few observations I can pass along:

- My motor ended up resting lower in the engine bay after the swap. No big deal, but I had to have two steel plates fab'd (maybe 1/2" to 3/4" think?) for my 4L60E. These plates went between the trans mount and the underbody of the car in order to get the trans in line and at proper level with the engine. So that now sits a bit lower as well.

- I do notice more vibration (a LOT more actually) that is to some degree the result of the one integrated poly motor mount on the BMR K member. I used my stock motor mounts for the other ones to try and balance (I didn't go with all poly mounts). I can't attribute all the vibrations to the k-member poly mount though, b/c I've got major clearance issues with my headers - passenger side primary practically rests against the body when the engine isn't even on (let alone torquing in that direction), and the driver's side primary is always rubbing the steering shaft. So I've got a lot of things contributing to vibration.
Do you have any good pictures of yours installed? How do those motor mounts look on the BMR? I am only really wanted to hear from people that have a k-member installed. I having serious issues with my set up and am ready to **** can it forever.

This picture is really big, but you can see where I'm coming from.(thumbnail doesn't work, but click it and it will)

I might have a few pics of my car laying around (won't be good res though), and I could possibly take a few if that would help. What exactly would you like to see from my setup?
Its all spohn k-memeber and a-arms. There is also one of their torque arms. I want to see what those mounts look like for the motor.

How have the mounting point on the lower a-arms holding up to your abuse?

Truth fully I dont like them and if you search the suspension section there has been a lot of BMR k-member failures. I also like the fact UMI has a double barred center section which saves headers and oil pans if you come down hard!

Quick Reply: What K-member/a-arms do you run?
