Default 97 trans am runs like the timing is off and misses at aboiut 4500
i have an lt1 with 89,000 miles on it and its running like the timing is off and kind of misses and pops then when i rap it up to about 4500rpm it really starts to pop. i put a new ignition module and coil on it and the opti was replaced around a year ago before i got the car. anyone know whats goin on?

i replaced the wires with ac delco ones and the plugs looked like new when i pulled them and they are also ac delco

nope no lights on but it threw a multiple miss fire code and an o2 code but nothing that helps me

check out chandler motorsports for an opti. some people hate em some people love em but thats the route im going when need be.

crank it up at night and let it warm up good and see if you got spark jumping anywhere, especially the coil wire

I got a chandler opti right before i sold mine. It died in less than two weeks. They issued me a full refund, so definitely have good customer service, but it was a headache i didnt want to go through
