97 t/a, spins over but wont start
so today i had to pull my power steering pump cuz the bolts were stripped out. after putting everything back together i try to start the car and it just spins over. i hooked up a scan tool to it and reads no codes present. when i pulled the pump i disconnected the battery and altenator so i could get to the pump. any ideas?
what im thinking:
security issue? how can i reset the computer?
crank sensor? wouldnt it throw a code?
some other sensor that i may have bumped? wouldnt it throw a code as well?
any input?? ill try anything at this point. the car ran fine before i did all this.
thx.

just unplug a plug wire from a plug..snap the plug wire to a good used plug..
ground the sparkplug body to the body or frame.. spin it over..look for spark..
or if you have one..you can just use a timing light to make sure you have spark at every plug wire..
under these conditions it's usually something simple..
I would suspect that something was inadvertently unplugged or
maybe you forgot to hook up a ground..something like that..
that's how it usually happens ..
