MSD's RMA returns

I sent my optispark in for repair over two weeks ago and it has not even shipped back to me yet. They are telling me it will be up to 10 more working days just to repair it, I think this is crazy; I could take that thing apart, repair it and have it all together in under 1hr. Just wanted to know if anyone other than myself has sent their MSD optispark into MSD for repair; if so please share your experience.

They sent mine back in less than 10 days. They wanted me to pay over 110 dollars for them to fix it. I told them to what they could do with their junk, I asked the person on the other end of the phone if they would pay for my 2 tows after their opti stranded me twice. They took it back as a warranty repair, I send a list in with my opti I told them to replace; the sensor, cap, rotor, seal, bearing, and the optical wheel. They sent it back with all of that stuff replaced. Just think if they would use some real loctite on the rotor none of that would have happened.

The wait time is because you're in line for repair. The stuff that gets delivered first gets fixed first. HOWEVER, it's not a good sign for MSD that they appear to have so many repairs lined up that the wait time is so long.

MSD must have taken a sales hit over the years as modern cars have no distributors, caps, rotors, ignition modules etc and there's many other options for top quality wires on the market. Could their workforce have shrunk to match?
