best LT's for LT1??
Trending Topics
That is incorrect, I have a set as many others do for 93-97 LT1 Fbody's, in fact they started making them for the LT1 prior LS1 cars. $509 delivered to your door with Air Injector fittings/EGR/two 02 Bungs and JetHot coated. You'll find a ton of folks on camaroz28.com using JH's on LT1s.And to the original posted inquiry, you'll love JetHot, have had no problems with mine, fitup is good, remove your pass side motor mount jack engine up about an inch and it slides in (almost vertically). If your hooking up your air/injection there are a couple fittings you'll need (1) for each side, Sear's carries them in their hardware dept, plumbing fittings I think, or JetHot may have made the correct coupler side (double male fitting) by now, not sure.
Good luck you'll love em.

I didn't see JETHOTs for 93-97 Fbody's on their catalog but I never used their catalog before, I just called them and ordered. They are also making ypipes coated for our cars now too, although I had a custom with dual 3" cutouts built it's still cool they are doing them now.

I just put Jet Hot long tubes on my car back in october of 2003, and it was a pain in the ***. It was nerve racking because I'd get so close on getting them through and then they'd get stuck on something, you have to have patience though or you'll just get pissed and want to quit. They both go through the bottom, you have to jack it up pretty high cause they're long tubes. You have to remove the alternator, starter, if you a strut tower brace that too, air filter, MAF, all of your exhaust, you'll save around 80lbs. just on that alone. Be careful when you remove the driver side exhaust manifold, because I sheered of my coolant temp. sensor and had to replace it, it was about $8. Those stock exhaust manifolds weight about 25lbs. each. The headers I got were with the emissions hook-ups, I later decided to not go with the emissions and plugged the holes with a 3/4" brass plug locked in place with good ol' JB Weld. The headers cost about $650 from Jet Hot 1-800-432-3379 that's the all around # the tech line is 1(610)277-5646. I had to buy new header gaskets, just get the Felpro ones. I did have a problem with my VATS, (vehicle anti theft system) from constantly turning the car on and off it reset my cars computer and had to have a buddy come over and fix the computer for $50, trust me if this happens do not replace the starter like I did, the car will act like the starters dead, it will be the VATS. I threw all kinds of **** at this car, and it was a simple $50 fix. I know better now. I picked up awesome power and sound, it sounds so badass with open header, I ran that for about a month and a half until I got a custom exhaust made. I hope that answered your question. Good Luck.
