Losing coolant

I had to add around a gallon of water to my car last week. Then when it was on the dyno I noticed a water drip. So today I got it up to temp on the ramps and one of the radiator hoses was dripping. Any advise on how to solve this dilemma? :bomb:

Sounds like you gotta tighten a clamp or replace a hose

Where exactly is the leak? if its close enough to the end of the hose, you can cut it with a blade and re-clamp it.. that is if its close enough to the end of the hose and after cutting you will still have enough length to properly place it back on.

I had a clamp leak and it was a very small leak and my fans would blow the coolant to places that made me scratch my head till i found where it came from. Make sure ur cap is good to.

More importantly, how did it do on the dyno?

Lost 12rwhp over the previous dyno. Ended up leaving the shop with a tune that made 412rwhp to be safe. I was getting detonation from the pcv system ingesting oil... the back of my car was covered in oil dropplets after the dyno session. Baseline was 408rwhp, got it up to 418rwhp by adding 2.5 degrees of timing in it, and it still wanted more timing but the oil was killing it. Who knows where it would have ended up.

2 different dyno's and the last one was late december vs mid july for this one.

Sounds like you have a few things to sort out, but it should be a monster. What kind of overall timing are you running if the car wanted 2.5 degrees or more?

I think the baseline was 32 degrees which is what it was at when I made 430rwhp, and it was up to 34.5 on the 418 pull.
