Default Turbo lt1 build on its final stretch to finish!!!

Hey guys, well like the title says she is finally done (mechanically finished) finished her up last night and now she is off to the tuner. its been 3 long fun years of this build but it was well worth it.
specs:
383 lt1

milodon billet pump
moroso 8 qrt aluminum race pan with all the normal goodies

all bmr, QA1, and some edelbrock suspension, including front tubular subframe.
bear 14 rotors up front with bear claw 4 piston calipers 12 inch bear rotors in rear twin piston calipers.

this car is a 1997 30th an. z28 and one hell of a ride so far, no tune yet i took it for a spin yesterday and snapped it to 8psi and well 5th gear was useless ha ha ha ha pure GM power.

shooting for 800 wheel for the first shot, drive it get used to it and then shoot for 1000 wheel, thats the goal anyways.

yes i built the motor including all machine work, i am a engine machinist here at a local race engine shop, i built the trans and rear end, i did all the fab work, i built the headers and exhaust, did everything on this car, besides doing the alignment.

its like watching your little kid grow up, almost cried as my dad drove off with it on the trailer to take it to the tuner, wish i could have gone but work got in the way. i will be goin in next wednesday for some vids of the dyno.

That'a one badass LT1 build and it should be devastating to the competetion. Are you going to put a cage and some sub frame connectors in that thing or you'll twist it in half!!! Also did you do any fill in the block and what scr are you running and what's the max boost you're looking to run, sorry for all the questions?

lots of questions, no fill in the block it took me a while to find it but this block has perfect core shift all the cylinders were thick as i have ever seen, it was out of an lt4 corvette, just a lucky find. max boost will be 25psi till my ***** become stable enough to push it farther, but if my math is correct on 25psi it should make 900 wheel on E85.

as for a hood my fiance's dad is a fiberglass freek and said he can make me a nice tapered wide cowl to cover everything.

it has fully custom frame connectors i built a while back when it had the blower on it, i shattered one of the t tops one night at the track and the next day she got connectors lmfao

as for ignition i am on the good ol opti with some mods. im running full accel dfi ignition. it runs off the dfi software and i match the fuel to the spark table from the dfi. a little tricky but man she will spin till the crank comes out the bottom.

as for a cage, its not decided yet hate to tell you guys this but this car has 9000, yes 9 0 0 0 original miles on it. im sure a few of you are like how could you cut the car up? i know well its a family handed car so it will be with me till my grave. so for the cage if it goes fast enough to scare me on the strip ill throw in a chromoly cage in her

i will be getting lots of video fromt he dyno and street racing it, im out in denver so all i have around here are tuners, i know i know **** them right??!! well there are a few out here that mean business and i have come to find out they have been talkin **** about the ol LT1 so its time the cars did the talking. one is a 900 horse eagle talon, yes i was there for the dyno, the other is a 780 wheel sti wrx subi, and the other is a 800 wheel supra of course. they saw the camaro one time out at super chevy and i never ran it so they said it was all show no go.

well enough is enough as soon as she is tuned things will get heated up here in the mile high area thats all i have to say.

1300 with a single 76mm is imposible! and your turbo wont make 1k at the wheels. you will need atleast a 88mm. what ignition/ecu/fuel you running? id like to see how you did your hotside. i made 670 thru a th400 with a s475, but changing up my hotside (almost done), got better heads and intake and goin to max the s475 out!

when i said 1300 i meant at the flywheel not the wheels and yes its very possible i ported the 15 degree cfe heads flowing well over 430 cfm and on 10.25 compression it made 1288 at 30 psi. and yes my setup will make 1000 wheel set on kill on E98. i have seen it plenty of times.

your on a th400 with im sure a very fat converter, im on a twin disk straight cut t56. some power will be lost threw that 400

but his was all race it eaither ran on c16 or E98. twin injectors per runner ya know the rest, but i can assume mine will be a bit lower than that. but hey only the dyno will tell not gunna fight for it if it makes less it makes less no porblem with me plenty of room for improvement. but the heads go 330+ 8:1 compression, E85, 249 244, 25 psi water to air, should pull off 1000 to 1050 crank. threw a dogged t56 and a 9 inch, i would think i will l drop off 200 to 250 horse so 750 to 850 wheel is where im shooting for. a man cant have a big goal??

dont be an *** about it man. just posting to see what people think of it. im serounded by tuners so ls1tech is really the only place to get some appreciation.
