Default 94 z28 Rpms bouncing at idle

I have a 94 z28 a4, just hit 131,xxx miles. Have pacesetter mid lengths on it and recently had a shop replace the exhaust gasket on passenger side. Then the next day car was running horrible. Looked under hood and found out that the shop didn't run a plug wire correctly. It was touching header and burnt through it. So I replaced the wire and it was running better but then car started revving by itself while I'm at a stop will bounce from 600 to about 1500 at the most. I've had this problem b4 I swapped the AIC, new egr valve, new smog pump, and swapped opti and wires and plugs with in last half year. Ive got rid of this problem for a couple months and it seems to be haunting me lol. Any ideas what could be causing my problem any help will be appreciated. Also should I change spark plug that the burnt wire was running to? Thanks and have a good day....

sounds like you have some sort of vacuum leak........check the egr did they delete it? if so make sure the ports on the back of the intake are blocked off and are not leaking air.....

O ok I'll have to recheck the egr. I still have it all cause I live in California. I want to delete it all abd run LT's lol but maybe after next smog. But I'll check vaccum lines for any leaks thanks....
