Default TH350 help

I have a th350 behind my LT and started hearing a bad whining noise during acceleration. It only starts at 35 MPH and gets louder with more speed. Started checking the rear and drive shaft first and moved to the trans. The rear seemed to be fine, the pinion was still tight and the u-joint at the rear is fine. However the slip yoke on the trans is moving more than I think it should on the tail shaft. Should it be tight or have a little play at the output shaft?

The problem just started after I found a relocation bracket for my lower control arm broke from the rear end. This caused the rear to shift forward and swivel on the bolt holding it in and misaligned the rear from being centered. Just for ***** and giggles I ordered a bearing kit for the rear just to ensure no problems there. However is there a bearing in the trans tail shaft that I should replace as well? Or do you think my problem is all in the rear end? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
