Default will 6 cylinder harness for engine bay with fuses?

work for 8 cylinder car? I know the fuse box will have less fuses than a Lt1 car but will they work. Or are they entirely different.

Does anyone know for sure?

Its just the harness from the driver side bulk connector and all the wiring that controls the headlights, cruise control, fans, etc.... with the big fuse box

lmk guys

thanks

It'll work..you might have to swap a couple of wires around..but it'll work.

The v8 harness has number 7 and 8 injectors' harnesses on the strut tower as part of the body harness.

really, I thought the engine harness had all injectors attached. The body harness in the engine bay has only the abs, cruise, lighting etc.....

Can anyone else confirm this and or have a schematic to swap wires around or what's needed for the conversion?

I think what he's referring to is the Injector Power Wires..all the Injector Control Wires are in the Harness.

The V6 Car has only one wire in the Fuse Box to power the Injectors & Coil, for the V8 Car you have to add a second power wire to power Bank 1 & Bank 2.

Everything on the Engine is controlled by the Engine Harness..pretty much what you connect on the Wheel Well is power & grounds, and the Serial Data Wire.

can you point me in the direction of a wiring diagram? This may be why my v8 swap doesn't want to start

Also, the fans are on the body harness. V6 is single and V8 is dual.

V8 has coolant level sensor wires in the body harness, V6 does not.
