Someone took a bat to my windshield and back glass
So does anyone know of a place online to purchase new glass that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg?

Ouch...somebody hit my bird a while back...left a small dent and scratched quarter panel.....but had a $500 deductible so I was fucked. Next policy I made the comprehensive/collision deductible only $100 so I don't get screwed again (at least not too badly) and my payment only went up about $10 a month. Money well spent if you car gets hit, vandalized, stolen, ect...I had to learn the hard way too. Do the math...if your car is likely to have 1 claim in the next 3 years it is cheaper to just pay more for a lower deductible; plus you don't ever have to worry about a large bill hitting you at once....$100 deductible and your car can be damn near totaled and they have to fix it now.

just remember the seal on the rear is 200 itself if yours isnt resuable. so before you go and buy another make sure you look at that. a glass shop also will not be responsible if they shatter glass trying to swap it from hatches, they only are responsible if it is their new glass and never used. Just replaced mine 200 and reused my seal

I took these pics when I got home right after it happened. The back glass just started to cave in.

I dont have a pic of the windshield - its still intact and I can see through it. But it was definitely hit hard. I ended up driving to a car wash and smashing out the rest of the back glass and used one of those vacuums there to clean it up.

Up until a few weeks ago, I managed a glass shop. If you go through a shop, make sure they use a brand called Pilkington - they are the OE mfgr of 4th gen fbody glass. They used to be called Libby Owens Ford (see the LOF logo in the middle base of your windshield?) The windshield from them with the moulding is only around $85 so with adhesive and labor, it shouldnt cost much over $200. The rear glass is a bit more, I think around $160 so installed shouldnt be over $300. The rear does have a 'seal' more commonly referred to as a welt although it isnt required and is purely cosmetic

youre most likely better off looking around localy than online. I had the windshield replaced on my f-body for like $110 bucks only. And they considered that expensive due to a "special" glue they had to use
