Default Y pipe hanger??

In having a problem with my y pipe rattling on passenger side and was looking down there and didnt see any kind of exhaust mount. It has longtube headers and a y pipe made by local muffler shop. I want to see if anyone has pics of longtubes with ypipe installed to see if im missing a hanger or something. Thanks

Shouldn't have to worry about the hanger on the y pipe. Most likely it is just hitting the brace behind the transmission

The Pacesetter ORY has a mount for a hanger on the back of the trans. It doesn't do jack.

^ It usually bangs against that little crossmember. I just took mine off and put a driveshaft loop on instead.

I didn't put a hanger on mine and it seems to be working fine. It's only supported by the headers and hangers on the catback.

Some pics here.

Yeah i just looked under and its barely touching that thing behind the trans like you all said, thanks to all for responding quick and will a drive shaft loop give more clearance?

They're OBX stepped stainless headers. Supposedly they are copies of the Kooks. I am 100% pleased with them. They fit great.

So they install easy then? What about that y pipe it looks real nice with that merge, it must be custom made, no muffler shop around here could make me something that nice which is why my y is touching that crossmeber

Yeah they installed about as easy as headers go on these cars. Didn't really have to tweak or modify anything. I was even able to use the stock steering shaft.

I made the whole Y pipe myself out of stainless. Got the idea from another thread on here. It came out pretty good for my first welding/fab project.

Here's my post from when I did my Y pipe.
