My personal 24x efi wiring thread
Well I would like everyone to know that so far all I have is the wire kit to make your harness into the lsx style pins. To allow The factory ltx harness to be used on a lsx pcm. My harness is from a 96 and is being used in a 94. So anyone with a 96-97 can use this on there 94-95 car. Below will be pix of how the harness was before and after.
The only harness connector I still have to finish adapting is the C100/C105
and still need to buy the cam/crank sensors with extra wiring to add to this harness. Took me about 4 hrs on my first one ever. Not bad at all and this was with doing a partial pin swap to make this convert from a 96 to a 94. I will do this all day, since im a electrical specialist anyway by trade. So if anyone wants this done to there harness I can do it for a fee
I had to repair about 4 wires and soldered the new wires into this harness so it will never come apart again and look factory
I also wired this up for NO 4l60e or T56. I will be using a th400. So all the rest of the wires are gone. I also eliminated the egr, air pump, rear o2s, other emissions on engine.
But I do have ?s right now for either eficonnections or others on here who have done this.
Will the cam/crank sensor come with wiring to finish the pin/wiring install on this system?
Where will the cam sensor wiring plug into? Does that come with the cam/crank/ timing cover setup?
Anyone have the wiring schematic that goes to the C100 connector and C105?
My reference chart!

Well lets just start off with what all do you have to start with? You are asking questions about needing harness plugs? The basic 24x kit comes with the cam/crank sensors and when you buy the diy harness kit it comes with all the connectors. Since your harness is a 96 it should have a crank sensor wiring in it already. If you do a search into my thread and couple others it will mention where to wire up the cam/crank sensors into the ls1 pcm block. As per our PM all the pinout and wiring info is on www.shbox.com to view and look up what you need to change out to match to 94 car.
Hope this helps

The other thing would be since I have the DIY kit. It comes with the crank sensor plug. DO I just remove my factory crank sensor plug and wire this one to it?
Also for the cam sensor wiring, WHERE does that go or come from? Do I have to install extra wires or what?

Cam Sensor:
Red Wire - LS1 Red 39
Pink Wire - LS1 Blue 61
Brown Wire - LS1 - Blue 73
Crank Sensor:
Light Green - Blue 2
Blue - Blue 12
Yellow - Blue 21
That is how you wire up those connectors. First double check to make sure your crank sensor has those color wires. Im not sure if EFI makes them different or not? If they are the same you can keep the crank sensor as is and not use the one you got from kit. You have already wired up the coil harness's but double check to make sure they are right. I have all correct locations for each connector in my thread if you do a search on it. Yeah i should have mentioned the tab at the bottom of shbox link that helps lol. Its also a very good idea to print out the pinouts from the ls1 and lt1 pcm connectors to verify they are matching everything. The benifit i found having the pinouts for the lt1 connectors is you know now what you can delete as the EFI conversion chart doesnt show that info and kept me hanging as i didnt know what each left over wire was.

The pink wires which is your power from the coils must be wired up to the thickest gauge pink wire off the c100 connector. You can trace and it will go up to where the stock coil wire is spliced into it. The black wires are a ground and you can either run it to the front of the driver side head with the other grounds or you can run it back through the harness down through the starter wiring and block grounds are. Your choice.

What he said ^
That is why I said to use the ls1 pcm pinout chart as a reference in the link I provided above so you can see where stuff can be pinned in other locations not just what's on the EFI conversion chart! Its not recommended too splice your grounds together into the pcm.
