Default Can anyone tell me the bolt length ...

I bought a arp harmonic balencer bolt... I guess it's made for a first gen sbc. The washer is way to big and I have been reading that the bolt may be bottoming out since it may be 2-3 threads too long.

Suggestions? What's the bolt length?

Thanks!

So far m not very satisfied with arp, they didn't include windage tray bolts in my main bolts either...

From shbox: crank hub bolt 7/16-20x 2 1/4 . Outside of the Aerospace industry ARP makes the nicest hardware.

You should be able to use the stock GM washer with the bolt. I bought the ARP balancer bolt as well, used the stock LT1s washer. You could stick something in and measure the hole depth to see if it will work as well.

You're not going to find that hub bolt anywhere except GM. If you have doubts about the ARP bolt working, I'd just run to the dealer and pick up the right one. I forget how much I paid when I bought one, but it wasn't a cheap bolt.

I wanted to know the size of it so I can make sure I have the right size. I don't want to go putting the motor in thinking its good to go an have issues over something simple that could of been corrected.
