Default cc306 as a road race/autox cam

Hey guys I was thinking of going with the cc306 or cc503. The car is a stock head car with full exhaust and intake. Found a deal on both cams so I was wondering how the cc306 was for a autox/ road race cam. I can go with the cc503 but would love the idle of the cc306.

I think the CC306 would be the better of the two for a roadrace cam. With the T56 you should have no problem keeping it in the powerband, and the lobes are actually easier on the valvetrain than the CC503's, and that's a good thing for the extended high rpm periods on the track.
For AutoX, I'd prefer the CC503 - AutoX'ing calls for instant torque off the turns and doesn't reward high rpm performance as much.

503 would be much better for the track and autocross. You want low-mid rpm torque to pull you out of corners and you don't want to have to rev high to make your power since you'll be short shifting at track days anyway.
