I'm doing my heads and cam change and this is some pics of my 147,000 motor.

Little cleaner then mine and mine were just about to hit 145k! Very nice.

Just out of curiosity, how do the bottom of the valves/combustion chambers look? Those runners are extremely clean.

? for u guys im about to do my cam and stuff also and i wasnt going to do anything to the heads... should i have the shop take them off and do some work to them or just leave them be and save the money for bigger heads

Matter of opinion, budget and what you are building.

If you are doing a stock bottom end and not revving to the moon, no point in aftermarket heads. Rather just get a valve job or send them to LE.

yeah nothing on the bottom end at all bc i was told not to do that bc im looking for a dd but just want to add hp so i did the top end or am doing it and then headers and a tune and then true duels and no cats. so thanks il just get the shop to do a head job and w.e they can to them

I haven't had time to get back in the garage but I only have 1 bolt left in each head so I'll get pics as soon as they come off. I'm being **** about slow and clean, if I don't have some real time I'm not hittin it. So yea pretty soon here.
