Funny that you mentioned Mobil 1. I was running Mobil 5w-30 synthetic and noticed at times my dummy oil pressure guage running on the low side at idle. Since I switched over to Penzoil Ultra 5w-30 it only dips a little past the halfway point now. And this was after it reached operating temps too.
I've heard of Mobil 5w-30 running on the thinner side so I don't know if this proves it or not but I'm going to stick with Penzoil Ultra 5w-30 for now.
