BOLO's LT1 is back & running Tagged along with Butch last Sunday to GLD to test his new suspension setup with an S60. Stock bottom end with the EFI 24x conversion still holding up! We were hunting for 10s but the track conditions started to suck and experienced hitting the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift that will soon be ironed out. His setup is enough to get that. Nonetheless, it was nice to see his car run! Check out vid by Brian R. http://youtu.be/UXEIbILCJls Here's another vid from the same run from a different cam unedited. I need to get an HD camcorder;( http://youtu.be/SjSqYO4nfIU |
About time..... |
Awesome! That puppy is hauling the mail |
Hauling ass! So close to the 10's too. |
Yeah, Butch! It looked like it left pretty strong. 10's are in the bag ;) |
looks like the same pass with the stock 10 bolt lol Still a badass haulin ass LT1 |
Not sure what happened. I linked another YouTube video, somehow it disappeared. Anyway, here is the video from another camera on that same run. Need to get an HD camcorder! http://youtu.be/SjSqYO4nfIU |
nice leave... can't wait to get my 24x up and running!!! |
The car is leaving hard ! I bet it would have busted a 10 if he footbraked it a little higher. I could also hear it hitting the limiter on that vid. Congrats to Butch I always loved this car. |
It was even better seeing it run in person! It's a shame the track ran away with all the guys show boating on street tires... There's definitely a 10.9x in the near future! |

Chris, Butch asked me to come but I couldn't make it would have been cool seeing you again. Do you ever see Brandon anymore ? |
I see him every once in a while, but he's been out on the boat(s). He's pretty much pulled out of the cars, because as he puts it "They cost too much money". It was a good time, but nothing exciting from me. I'm actually contemplating an LSx swap as of late. Just trying to see which engine will be cheaper to build right now. We'll definitely have to get there at the same time next spring. |
Glad to see it up and makin' passes. |

Probably Navy. |
Naw he bought a Baja a few years ago (21ft with a 454), then last summer bought a mastercraft wake boarding boat. Actually it's quite funny because the mastercraft has $15,000 in damage to it from this summer's festivities and the Baja eats about $400 in fuel a weekend. He justifies it by "getting tail" as he puts it. |

Badhawk, I know for sure Butch would get his 10's if the track conditions were better. Butch will need to data log his issues with hitting the rev limiter on his 2-3 shift. I guess we will wait till spring. If all is well, maybe off to the shootout ESNA? That would be great if he made the shootout. hope to see you guys there. |
