Fastest cam and bolt on car's

hey guys, i was doing alot of research and found that most cam and bolt on times were mid to low 12's. I also see a fair amout of bolt on cars that can run that. What difference does adding a cam actually do for these cars with full bolt ons, gear, tire, and converter? I also wouldn't mind seeing some times people have with there cammed and bolted car's. BTW im not saying mid to low 12's is bad, because its not lol its moving pretty good, i just thought there would be more in the high 11's.

I went from a best of 12.3 @ 107 with bolt-on's, stock cam, in a 3900 lb car; to the best you see in my sig with the heads/cam pkg, the only other change being the torque converter. I'll hazard a guess that I could have gotten it to the 11.5 range with just the cam and converter change.

Mine went 12.17 with headers, Lunati cam, and a BBK throttle body. It has a 4.30 gear with Hoosier DOT slicks. The heads are worse than stock, and the bottom end is completely stock. I'm trying to learn how to tune it:)
