Default Buyer Beware of James Brown DJJAB57

Since he seems to be hanging out in this section I'm going to post this in here.

I have known James for some time and he had me do some work on his car. I let him have his car back before payment was made but he promised to have my money in 2 weeks. He took his car and I never heard back from him again.

If he will screw me(Someone that he has known for a long while) he will screw you too...

Here is a Link to the thread I posted in the Texas Section

He's taunting you with both his avatar and his signature. I've never forced myself upon another man, but some form of maximum security prison justice might be in order. I guess I would need to see a picture first.

What a piece of ****, not a big enough man to work things out with you. Yet he still frequents this site, and is on it right now and will continue to ignore you like a bitch.

The thing is I'm very easy to work with, all he has to do is pay me a little here and there till it is paid off. I have a lot of people that owe me for parts and stuff. I know people goes through hard times and **** happens. All he has to do is call and work things out.

Sorry to hear about this but live and learn. Never let go of the keys until paid in full. I had to do it once for a so-called friend. Yanked his POS up on my trailer and took it to a friends house. He threatened to call the cops on me. I threatened to burn his **** and bury it. Had my $1500 the next week.

thats messed up, especially when you rely on cars or can't do the work yourself its always good to have people willing to help you out. But then when you burn them you burn that bridge. Sorry to hear about it OP, some people are just cowards, and cheap.

If you've known him for years you should know where he stay or someone else that's close to him. Knock on his door with the cops

Their not going to do anything, its a Civil Matter.

I don't have an invoice but I do have text messages where we discussed prices and balanced due. I may just file a judgement against him but even then I still may not get paid.

His silence seems to be deafening. I don't think I've ever fucked anyone, but if someone claimed I had, and I hadn't, I believe I would defend myself.

Not completely sure how it works, but is that the same as filing a mechanics lean on the car for unpaid work?

I don't know about your state, but in Missouri it costs 250 dollars to file a judgement i believe. Sometimes its not even worth it.
