Default LT4 hot cam and tuning

Hey every one just wanted to see if any one else has had these issues after upgrading.

The new engine runs good and starts easy but will not drop below 950-1000 rpms even when its warm. In gear they drop a little bit but are still clearly too high 800-900. The car also seems to hesitate when once you start getting your foot into it more. I have not open her up since the motor is still fresh and is not tuned. I am assuming this is only a issue do to the stock PCM and hope a mail order tune will get the car on the road so it can be broken in and then dyno tuned.

I think all manual cars in general are suppose to idle slightly higher in neutral while coasting and then drop when they come to a complete stop. Or at least that's how every manual car I've driven does lol

As you put lower gears in the car it gets worse if you don't know how to cure it.

Get a tune. I don't know why people still complain about their untuned car running different. Get a tune, get a tune, get a tune.

Well yes I understand that. And I am not complaining. I just wanted to verify that there is nothing else going on like a vac leak or something along those lines.
