Haha glad you guys liked the video.. Footage is about 8 years old so forgive the quality. Glad I at least had a decent camcorder and tripod for the dyno back then. This motor grenaded.. And I added a bit of masala in the video it only went to 8k.. Or 7850 was where the cutoff was. Just a stroker with LT4 heads/intake solid roller with some goodies/lightweight components.

I was just getting excited about the new motor almost being done and have been watching old videos for a while and I always liked that song so I threw it together @work. New one is a much better setup throughout

Exhaust note is really what the build was all about I figure, everyone and their neighbor has a supercharged 1000rwhp ls so what's the point of chasing a number. For me its all about the look and feel and sound... And a high rpm v8 really does it for me. I learned a lot from this build and the new Motor is going in this car of course .. Its basically a way better motor down to every component and way more aggressive as well

I really wish I did that dyno with the random tech mettalics removed it really made it sound like a monster. I posted about the new build a while back.. Its taken some time because life got in the way lol .. Married.. House.. Kids... But its going to hit the road this year and ill have a go pro ready for tons and tons of videos

Link to the new motor can't wait to hear what the tune is like at high rpm with this setup and ls firing order !

Wow, what a gorgeous C4 and its Canadian too.

Got some really nice parts going into that thing. Keep us posted with the progress, would love to see the end result. What kind of lift will your cam have? What kind of ignition system will be using, 24x?

I was in mississauga last it was running but im in Milton now. Ive had her almost 16 years now maybe youve seen it around late nights at the hot spots Im not sure if weve met before I had the 02 som ss and im on tfbm as well but I sold that ss for an m3 (i know... I needed the bigger trunk honestly with 2 lil ones lol)

thanks for the compliments Hopefully all goes well and itll be in the car before summers end. The cam in the video i believe was around 600 lift if I remember right, 236/44 and a high lsa cam. The new cam is well into the 260s duration, .700 lift and tight lsa. The ignition system is the gen 7 dfi. I had the oem computer removed and the dfi was a std sbc setup and I put a dizzy in the lt4 manifold. Wish I had the options now back in 02 with the efi 24x stuff and now fast and gen 8 dfi. If all goes well and its running great Ill probably swap to the dfi gen 8 with coil/plug over the winter.

I dont like the dual sync dizzy for accuracy so Im getting help from forum members here for a 1x signal from the cam sprocket with a pickup on the timing cover for the cam signal (i know speak of the devil efi just came out with something similar lol) and will be ordering an ATI magnetic shell with a pickup the 4x crank signal and hopefully run a regular dizzy and keep a dual sync as a spare just in case any of the other pickups fail.
