Default K-Member In Car or Out Car

About to simultaneously tackle Pacesetter LT and FreakShow converter swap. I know I could just drop the trans and do all the disconnecting and what not but would it just be easier to drop the whole K-member out? Id like to do this swap in the most efficient manner possible.

Leave engine in car, take trans out, more access to get headers in and manifolds out.

So long as you have the car high enough off the ground, the pacesetters should slip right in. Well that and if the motor mounts have ever been done.
