Default help? jet fan switch #60602 for 95 trans am lt1

Need help, i read up on jet fan switch to make my fans or fan to come on sooner for cooler temps! im out here in california and it gets hot especially with headers. Not overheating but just better temps.

I bought this exspensive switch, but? Guess what? I can not find water jacket plug tbat i have to remove to install switch? I looked by cylinders #6 & 8 where its suppose to be at and i cant find it? Only saw the freeze plugs. I look top to bottom and even opposite side of block? Now im stuck with this damn part but i really would like to utilize it!

Any help and or something i dont know or missing please help. I called jet and jegs but they say its suppose to be there. I think there just going off product info only. Fustrated!!! please help...

return the switch and get the pcm reprogrammed for lower temps. Money MUCH better spent.

I agree with 96' send it back and either get the pcm programed or buy the SLP fan switch, that's the one I run with a 160 t stat..

The plug is right there between 6 and 8. 5/16 square drive.

I had my pcm reprogrammed for a 160* stat and runs about 173 all day. I have a manual override switch that grounds the ecu wire out to turn either low or high fans on.

shbox gave you good solid information that any of the rest of us could have offered but we wanted to save you from your poor choice rather than help you with it.........
