Usually when this happens after one has been revving to redline it can end up as a bent pushrod. It's possible your valve adjustment is out of whack. Take the valve covers off and see what you can see. Difficult to know how it did with no mention of modifications.

Good runs! I would say some boltons with those times.

I cant remember if your an A4 or an M6, but judging by the mph Im guessing M6. Those are very good, consistent runs, the 60' to the ET to the mph are all very good for a boltons only car. I think you did well!

Nice times for a DD. And fairly normal for me to break something at the strip. The weakest links let go first. But thats how u can sort them out.

Found out a nut came undone on number 6 rocker exhaust. I'll take my times are a shame...I have 3.73s gears with a yank 3600. TFS 21* heads (cast) with a custom cam .577in 575ex. With 1.6 rockers. Full exhaust, 52mm tb, 30lbs injectors, EWP with cai. It's dropped on BMR 1.25' and has on car adjustable Konis. Adjustable panhard bar, and lower control arms with relocation brackets

Ooooo....totally forgot you had the heads and cam...regardless, you were consistent, and cut a good 60' for street tires. Have you ever had it dynoed? By your mph Id only guess your making about 330 to the tires.

*edit* online calculator confirms about 324 to the tires based on weight and mph, http://www.wallaceracing.com/et-hp-mph.php

Those are some great parts and dyno reflects that. Must have a lot of tire spin. What are using for tires at the strip? Those Bridgestones must be bald by now.

The car needs a sticky tire and it would pick up a ton. Do you have lower control arm relocation brackets? whats your front Koni's set at?

How do you like those Bridgestone potenza S-04's? I'm stuck between getting those in a 285/35/18 or the bfg gforce sport comp 2 in 275/40/18? Any feedback?

I like them, but have only put a little over 2000 miles on them in 2 years. Me personally would go with the 40 side wall. Used to run a 285/35 and it was a harsh ride, go with a 40 and it helps a lot.

I don't know if you recognized my car but I was there all night and saw your car, looked great!

I got a whopping 14 passes in and bested a 13.34 @ 102. Had a bunch of consistent 13.5s all night. I hotlapped A LOT.

first pass was 68 degrees and rear tires had 40psi (fastest pass of the night).
Before my third pass I'd dropped them to 35psi. Then before my 6th passed I'd dropped them to 29 psi. By then the temp was 49 degrees. I tried flashing all the way once and spun like a **** (2nd pass). After that run I just eased out of the hole and then mashed it.

Did you try hitting it just off idle instead of foot braking it up high? I have a 4000 and I get best 60ft time launching at about 1600 RPM's.

With the exception of me flashing it once, they were all foot braked at 2000 give or take a few hundred rpms
