LT1 Braking issue

LT1 Braking issue Hey guys, im new to the forum so excuse me if this has already been posted, but i recently had my 93 lt1 jacked up in the back and noticed the rear brakes wouldnt work. well i figured there would just be air in the line so i tried bleeding them but no luck. the pedal seems spongy compared to my 99 firebird and is harder to depress than my firebird, any ideas on what could be causing this problem? i bled both sides and neither side works and i also bled the abs module. when i bleed the lines fluid comes out and the pedal goes farther down, so there is fluid back there, but no pressure? could it be the proportioning valve? master cylinder? what? the rear abs sensor is unhooked, but still this shouldnt cause this problem. thanks.

Agreeing with 97, the rear calipers need to be checked and made sure they're in good condition.
Power bleeding is the best way to do these jobs. Find a brake shop and have them power bleed them. Make sure they flush out the old fluid.
If the problem persists, at least you'll be able to rule out air in the lines. At that point, the shop should be able to guide you in the right direction.
